Sporting Programs

Mountain Creek State High School offers an extensive range of sporting opportunities for students both in and out of school time. Our sporting programs have been extremely successful in the past due to the dedication and commitment of both students and staff.

Students have the opportunity to play in competitions against other schools in the local community as well as travel to various locations in Queensland and in some sports interstate. We have a large number of qualified staff who offer training and expert advice to competitors. Most sports begin training at the start of the year and compete in various competitions throughout the year.

Students have the opportunity to select Physical Education as an elective in Yr 10, 11 and 12. In addition specialist classes in Volleyball, Basketball, Rugby Union and Rugby League are offered.
